  • Returns will not be accepted after 14-days from payment.
  • Should you try to return items after this period, we may have to send it back to your default delivery address and ask you to cover the cost of delivery.

Made to Order Items are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Receiving A Refund 

 

Refunds will be credited to the original purchaser via the original payment method.

Upon receipt of the returned goods, your refund will be processed within 3-5 business days (Working days are Monday to Friday excluding UK bank holidays)

When returning items, please retain your proof of postage until you have received your refund. Afro Couture London takes no responsibility for packages that go missing, get damaged or are lost in transit.

If your return was purchased in a currency other than your local currency, refunds will be paid in the same currency as purchased. Due to fluctuations in currency exchange rates the amount refunded may differ slightly to the original price paid.  Shipping charges are non-refundable.

If you request a refund for an item during the time specified above but you can’t return it to us for some reason, please contact us – and will do our very best to accommodate you. Please do note that any refunds will be at our discretion.

How do I Return My Item?

Steps to return your item

  1. Place the product in the original shipping package.
  2. Contact us to inform us of your reasons for wanting to return your items.
  3. Submit your returns request quoting your order number.
  4. Post and return the item(s) to the following address: –

Afro Couture London, Studio 96, Pendragon Road, Bromley Kent BR1 5LH.

  1. Please retain your shipping confirmation as proof of postage, as the items can not be considered for a return until they are received.
  2. We will send you a confirmation email once your return has been finalised

WHICH ITEMS CANNOT BE RETURNED?

Hygiene and our customers’ safety is super important to us, so certain items can’t be returned for refunds as follows: 

  • Washed items
  • Stained items
  • Gift cards
  • Discounted / Sale items
  • Items with tags removed or missing its original packaging
  • Underwear if the hygiene seal is not intact or any labels have been broken.
  • Swimwear if the hygiene seal is not intact or any labels have been broken.

All items are inspected on return.

Your statutory rights are not affected

WHAT IF I RECEIVE A DAMAGED ITEM?

At Afro Couture London, we pride ourselves in ensuring that our customers experience the highest levels of service.

Each piece is made with love in the UK for you to wear with style anywhere; however, if the product you have purchased is damaged or faulty on receipt, please contact us within 48 hours of the date of purchase as the items cannot be returned after this time.

COLOUR VARIATIONS

Colours may vary due to photography lenses, indoor/outdoor lighting, computer monitor resolutions.  Clothing patterns may also vary.  These colour variations do not qualify as defects or qualify for refunds and do not constitute damage.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY ORDER?

We acknowledge that from time to time you may wish to change your mind and as such you may need to cancel your order.  Please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order.  We are unable to cancel orders that have already been processed.

CANCELLING A PROCESSED ORDER

Cancelling orders which have already been processed

Orders which have already been processed will need to be refunded to the original method of payment. Please contact us to request a refund for items which have already been processed. 

A refund will only be made for items which have not been shipped already.  Items which have already been shipped will need to have a refund request raised and then returned to be checked before they can be considered for a refund.

Sale items cannot be cancelled. 

Ready to Wear cancelled orders will be processed and refunded within 14 business days

Made to Order items can only be cancelled within 48 hours before payment is processed.  Once payment has been processed, Made to Order items cannot be refunded.

Pre Ordered items can only be cancelled within 48 hours before payment is processed.  Once payment has been processed, Pre Ordered items cannot be refunded.

EXCHANGES

We do not offer exchanges. For items which you would like to exchange, please return your order to us within 14 business days of the purchase date for a refund ensuring the return conditions are met. A new order can then be placed online. Please note, the availability of a replacement item is not guaranteed.

What is a Pre-Ordered Item? A pre-order is an order placed for an item that is yet to be released. They're shipped to you so you can be the first to wear our most exclusive ranges. Pre-orders allow our customers to order products before they are available. Buying one of our pre-ordered items supports the environment and prevents waste worldwide as sustainability is one of our key principles. We want our customers to have the opportunity to have an exclusive piece; It’s not going to be mass-produced, so you would rarely see it repeated! Purchase now, get it a little later and be a style icon forever! Please note, pre-ordered items cannot be returned, they can only be cancelled 14 calendar days after the order is purchased.
